Earlier this summer I conducted a photo shoot with an Epiphone Les Paul Tribute PLUS in Faded Cherry. Images from the session made it into the 2013 Epiphone calendar but I thought I would share one I really like that didn't. For all my fellow camera nerds out there, this image was captured by a Canon EOS 7D in Aperture Priority mode at f/2.8 and 1/200 sec. ISO was 100 and Focal Length was 42.0mm. Mayday guitarist Monster dropped by Epiphone Headquarters in Nashville earlier today to check out a few guitars. The band is playing a show in San Francisco tomorrow night before returning to Taiwan. Mayday have sold more than 1 million albums and won the Golden Melody Award (Chinese equivalent to the Grammy Awards) for Best Band in 2001, 2004, 2009 and 2012.

Behind the scenes, on a very hot summer day in Nashville, Tennessee, I had a photo session with a Silverburst Jack Casady Signature Bass and a 1949 Chevrolet 2-door coupe. Thought I would share some of the results.

Wow. 2013 is almost upon us and is sure to be busier than ever. Don't you wish there were some way to keep things organized this year? You know, maybe a calendar with some cool Epiphone guitar photographs. Hmmm… well, all I can say is, I've been creating a lot of images the past few weeks and the floor at Epi Headquarters is looking like an Epiphone picture book this afternoon.

The Epiphone roots run deep around here and we are also making sure they grow into the future as well. Epiphone EU representative Sjoerd Reijans' son just received his first electric guitar. A Zakk Wylde Bullseye VeeWee, of course! Check out the cool Epiphone wrist band, too! We have a feeling this is the start of a long line of Epiphone guitars in this little guy's life. Rock on!
