Happy New Year from Epiphone! Happy New Year from all of us at Epiphone. In 2014, The House of Stathopoulo will continue its 140 year long tradition as the working musician's #1 choice for stringed instruments. Whether you're just learning to play guitar or bass with Rocksmith 2014 or performing on stage with a Les Paul, Epiphone has an instrument made with you in mind.

One hundred years ago, 1914 was a big year for Epiphone. The founder of Epiphone, Epi Stathopoulo, was following in the footsteps of his father Anastasios, who had filed his first patent for a bowl-back style mandolin. Epi encouraged his father to move the company's headquarters to West 42nd Street in New York and over the next decade, the House of Stathopoulo would start to make waves nationally with the Recording Banjo, followed by the Epi's own Masterbilt Series of acoustic guitars which are still made today.

Epiphone is recognized around the world for making high quality affordable instruments in just about every style you can imagine. Our artists can be found in every music Hall of Fame. A century's worth of great recordings have been on Epiphone instruments. And you can bet that 2014 is going to be full of surprises, so get ready!

Thanks to all of our players around the world. Happy New Year!
