The web has been all a-buzz for some months at the news that the new Machine Head album, Bloodstone and Diamonds
--out in the U.S. on November 10--would be coming with a new Robb Flynn Epiphone Flying V
. Well the rumors are true and you better act fast.
The most epic bundle of all time is now available in a limited edition of only 500 worldwide featuring the new Machine Head album along with a new Epiphone Robb Flynn MH Flying V with custom one-of-a-king Machine Head artwork.
And while supplies last, the first orders will receive a surprise grab bag of gear used by Machine Head in the studio including guitar picks, strings, and drum heads. And by the serious sound of the new album (more on that soon) you can be sure that fragments of all of the above are going to be the prized possession of any collector.
Just like his classic Love/Death Baritone Flying V,
Robb helped design the Ltd. Ed. Flying V which has an Ebony gloss finish with a Mahogany body and neck, a Rosewood fingerboard, Grover™ Rotomatics; 18:1 ratio tuners, Epiphone 650R™ and 700T™ humbuckers for killer tone, and a special "2014" Limited Edition logo on the back of headstock.
"I cannot even begin to tell you how proud we are of this album," said Flynn about the new album. "It's been a heck of a ride. It looked like it might not ever happen again at one point, but man, this album is a milestone for us. You're going to love it Head Cases."
The first single, "Now We Die" is out now. “Without getting too philosophical on ya, bloodstone and diamonds represent two of the hardest materials on earth, it is also a lyric from the opening track of the album, "Now We Die." In many cultures the bloodstone has been used as an amulet to protect against evil, and is the symbol of justice. Diamonds are the hardest natural material on Earth (which is how we feel about our music), and it also represents the diamond logo I drew 22 years ago (in my wife's apartment on Dover St. in Oakland) that has become the symbol for the band.”
