Archer Kicks Off 2015 Tour Schedule With HellYeah and Doro of Warlock

Epiphone artists and hard rock/metal power trio Archer is kicking off 2015 with their “Culling the Masses” U.S. tour to promote their soon-to-be released album, Culling the Weak. Archer starts by opening for heavy metal supergroup HellYeah on their “Blood for Blood” headliner tour and immediately follows it as direct support for German hard rock legend Doro of Warlock on her “Strong And Proud” tour. Things kick off in Las Vegas on February 6 and the tour includes 27 cities, culminating at the world famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood on March 18.

“We can’t wait to hit the road with HellYeah and Doro," says frontman Dylan Rose (guitar/vocals). “It's going to be a blast playing with these guys every night and a great opportunity to show everyone what we've got."

Archer recently wrapped up the recording and mixing/mastering process for Culling the Weak. Produced by Mike Clink (Guns ‘N Roses, Megadeth, UFO) at Sound Instinct Studio and mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Halford, Sepultura, Yngwie Malmsteen), the first track “My Atrocity” (available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc.) was released in late 2014. The first official single off the new album targeted for radio release in February will be “Belief” and the official worldwide release date of the album is slated for May 5. During their "Culling the Masses" tour, fans at each venue may purchase a limited edition, pre-release version of the new album signed by the band.

“Working with Mike Clink was an incredible experience," states David DeSilva (bassist/vocals). “We really developed a great working relationship and had an amazing time making this record. Mike helped shaped this album into our best work yet."

Following the HellYeah/Doro tour, Archer has plans to hit the road again and has several U.S. and European tour opportunities in the works. They expect to make a formal announcement regarding their remaining 2015 tour plans immediately following their “Culling the Masses” tour.

“We're very excited to have the album done and be able to start playing live as much as possible. It's time to get out there and bring this music to the masses."
