Ben Nichols of Lucero
We caught up with Ben Nichols of the band Lucero in Nashville this weekend. Look for a video interview on epiphone.com very soon. In the meantime, here are some photos we took of Ben with his Epiphone Sheraton-II.

Photo Session: The Epiphone Thunderbird IV Bass
The Epiphone Thunderbird IV Bass has been front-and-center in a photo session for Epiphone this morning so I thought I would share one of the images with you. This bass is ultra-cool with it’s unique “reversed” zig-zag body design and distinct headstock, but the best part is it’s thundering tone! Truly one of the un-sung heroes of our lineup, the Thunderbird IV is definitely worth checking out. GO HERE for more information.

Some Like It Hot
I've been digging up a few of our ads from the 1980s lately. I like the one below that proclaims, "This isn't a guitar for shy people." Of course it is referring to the Epiphone Genesis which rocked the guitar industry with it's double-cutaway good looks and dual-humbucker with coil-tapping output. Some Like It Hot for sure! This guitar has become quite popular with the collector crowd and the players that own them are very loyal to the unique guitar. Wouldn't it be cool if this guitar were re-issued?

The Ambassador of Music City
Congratulations to our friend and Epiphone player David Anderson who recently received some well-deserved recognition in our local newspaper, The Tennessean. Known as the Ambassador of Music City, David has been called the busiest guitarist in town and considering he has played more than 2,000 Music City gigs in the past decade, the title is fitting. Drop by the Country Music Hall of Fame (11 am to 3 pm every day but Sunday), his regular four-hour evening performances at the Union Station hotel, or a host of other shows and find out for yourself why David has received the accolades of music greats such as Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Little Richard and more.

Hanging With Dave Rude of Tesla
One of the great things about working here is getting to meet and hang with some truly great musicians. Yesterday, our friend Dave Rude of Tesla dropped by for a bit. That’s Epi representatives Will Jones and Cara Hogan with Dave, who was quite impressed with the Emperor Swingster we showed him. It will be available in a new color very soon. Read more about Dave's visit HERE.
