Have you heard the rumors about the new Limited Edition Jack Casady in Silverburst? Well, the rumors are getting closer to reality. Last week we sent a new Silverburst to Jack himself and he loved it so much he is already using it live. He sent us these photos of his rig from just a few days ago. We are really proud of the Jack Casady signature basses and find it very cool that Jack uses them “stock, right out of the box.” When you design a great bass from the get-go, there’s no reason to mess with it! Our friend Tom MacDonald of Hedley sent us this behind-the-scenes photo from the set of their new video shoot. Looks like Tom is revealing a new color for the Jack Casady signature model!

Rising country music artist Duane Claitt was in Nashville last week for the 2012 CMA Music Festival. While in town, Duane dropped by the Epiphone showroom to check out a few Masterbilt acoustic guitars. He just completed a video with his DR-500MCE model and will soon be on the road with a few more Masterbilt acoustics. Look for big things from Duane, including a new album, in the near future.

The Epiphone Thunderbird IV Bass has been front-and-center in a photo session for Epiphone this morning so I thought I would share one of the images with you. This bass is ultra-cool with it’s unique “reversed” zig-zag body design and distinct headstock, but the best part is it’s thundering tone!
