The Ambassador of Music City

Congratulations to our friend and Epiphone player David Anderson who recently received some well-deserved recognition in our local newspaper, The Tennessean. Known as the Ambassador of Music City, David has been called the busiest guitarist in town and considering he has played more than 2,000 Music City gigs in the past decade, the title is fitting. Drop by the Country Music Hall of Fame (11 am to 3 pm every day but Sunday), his regular four-hour evening performances at the Union Station hotel, or a host of other shows and find out for yourself why David has received the accolades of music greats such as Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Little Richard and more.

Hanging With Dave Rude of Tesla

One of the great things about working here is getting to meet and hang with some truly great musicians. Yesterday, our friend Dave Rude of Tesla dropped by for a bit. That’s Epi representatives Will Jones and Cara Hogan with Dave, who was quite impressed with the Emperor Swingster we showed him. It will be available in a new color very soon. Read more about Dave's visit HERE.

Many of you are familiar with the videos we have recently posted featuring our friend Bryan Aspey. Bryan has expertly demonstrated the Les Paul Ultra III and the eSonic2 Preamp System for us and we are about to reveal another video from Bryan that features a new Epiphone model. I'm reviewing the footage as I write this and I wish I could share it with you. But, you're going to have to wait. Look for an official announcement on www.epiphone.com next week.

1952 Epiphone Triumph Regent

It's easy to get buried in day-to-day work here at Epiphone Headquarters. In fact, there are days that I barely even look up from my computer. However, this morning as I prepped the latest Epiphone E-Letter, I was distracted by a special delivery. We recently purchased a pristine 1952 Epiphone Triumph Regent and today was the day it landed on our doorstep. The guitar is simply gorgeous and is one of the nicest playing instruments in our entire vintage collection. I just had to share a couple quick pictures!

Starting Out Life in a Rocking Fashion!

We get a lot of pictures sent to us here at Epiphone headquarters but this one from our friend Thorsten in Germany caught our attention. This is a photo of Thorsten’s new son Tom who was photographed with his Epiphone Zakk Wylde VeeWee at a mere 19 hours old. Congratulations Thorsten! It’s good to see that Tom is starting out life in a rocking fashion! Zakk would be proud!
