Epi Day at Musicians Institute In Hollywood

Musicians Institute and Epiphone Guitars presented Epiphone Day at the schools Hollywood, California headquarters on May 24. Students were invited to step onto the 45-foot Gibson/Epiphone Tour Bus to test-drive new Epiphone guitars. Meanwhile in the Concert Hall, Epiphone techs were busy re-stringing students' guitars with free sets of Gibson strings.

Creator of Metalocalypse and leader of Dethklok, Brendon Small, held a clinic/Q&A session discussing everything from how he composes and records for the greatest metal cartoon of all time to what it's like touring with Dethklok. During the clinic, an Epiphone Limited Edition "1958" Explorer guitar was given away to a lucky Guitar Program student.
