Milwaukee's Cascio Music was established in 1946 by Frank Cascio. Initially an accordion shop, Cascio later expanded into other lines of popular musical instruments and in the 1970's created Interstate Music Company. The subsidiary of Cascio Music focussed on mail order, primarily serving band directors and school music programs. By the mid 1980's Interstates product line was expanded to include guitars, drum kits and other combo related gear and in the late 1990's a retail website was developed and a distribution center was added which now houses over 50,000 different musical products. Around that same time, Cascio's retail operation was expanded to join the ranks of the largest musical instrument retailers in the country and in 2003 the local venerable name of Cascio Music and the nationally renowned Interstate Music Supply names were combined, simply forming Interstate Music. Today, the store's clientele includes 1000 private students, local professional musicians and many nationally known players.

Boasting one of the largest selections of the guitars in the Midwest, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Ray Goodden (pictured above right, receiving award from Epi representative Will Jones) says that "Epiphone is hands down one of the best guitar brands we offer, with great quality and workmanship, high customer satisfaction and a great history. Epiphone also has the most extensive line in the guitar market today, allowing us to meet every customer's need. "

Interstate's retail store, located in New Berlin, Wisconsin, houses over 25,000 square feet of space, including 32 lesson rooms, a recital hall, a 48 track digital recording studio and more. "We strive to bring our customers everything they would expect from one of the nation's largest music stores and also everything they wouldn't" says Greg Price, Director of Retail Operations.

As an added bonus, Interstate Music is an Epiphone Signature Dealer, carrying in-demand Epiphone artist models, such as the John Lee Hooker USA Sheratons, John Lennon USA Casinos and Sevendust John Connolly LPs and Vinnie Basses.
