Seventeen PGA Champions gathered at the annual PGA Champions'
Dinner on August 10, 2004. The event which is only open to former champions,
was held in conjunction with the
86th PGA Championship
and was hosted by defending PGA Champion Shaun Micheel at the Blackwolf
Run Golf Club in Kohler, Wisconsin. Micheel provided Rendezvous Ribs from
his home in Memphis, Tennessee to give the seventeen former champions a taste
of the South and then presented each with a gift he felt best
represented Memphis, an
Les Paul Studio electric guitar.
