On May 14th 2005, Alto Music hosted a gigantic Gibson and Epiphone Day. Hundreds of people descended upon the Middletown, New York store to check out four live bands, eat complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers (prepared by Chef Scott Lombardo, Gibson Business Development Manager), and peruse the store’s extensive selection of Epiphone and Gibson products. In addition to Scott, other Gibson representatives were on hand with their traveling exhibits: Mark Case with the Custom Shop and Jason Jones with Gibson Acoustic. Epiphone representative Brad White gave away countless Epi t-shirts and promotional items to an enthusiastic crowd, while Hank Etell from the Strings and Accessories division conducted a string changing clinic, changing hundreds of strings throughout the day. The event culminated in drawings for fantastic Epiphone/Gibson products. Ray Szajko won an Epiphone Les Paul Studio and Isabelle Pizza won a Gibson Les Paul Standard!
