Singer/Songwriter/Producer Radney Foster stopped by Epiphone this week to pick up his new Masterbilt AJ-500RC 12-Fret.

Known as a songwriter's songwriter, Radney first gained attention as half of the duo Foster & Lloyd, who were the first duo in history to top the Country charts with their debut single, "Crazy Over You." More importantly, they showed a generation of youngsters that Country music could be hip without losing sight of the roots. Later, Foster's solo albums had the same kind of impact--proving that you could have mainstream success without selling your soul.

Foster's songs have long been sought after by other artists. Everyone from Dixie Chicks and Guy Clark to Keith Urban and Hootie and the Blowfish have covered his songs, while his own hits like "Nobody Wins," and "Texas In 1880" and "Just Call Me Lonesome," continue to be played on radio and by bar bands around the world. He has served as host for the critically-acclaimed CMT Crossroads, and recently produced Rollercoaster for the Randy Rogers Band, which is currently in the Top Ten on the Texas Music Chart.
