Bonamassa Keeps the Blues AliveEpiphone's Joe Bonamassa is sponsoring the Joe Bonamassa Blues Guitar Scholarship which will award a scholarship to the Musicians Institute. The $3,000 worth of tuition credit will be awarded in Spring 2013 to a newly enrolling intermediate or advanced student in the Associate of Arts in Performance/Guitar Program at MI who "demonstrates overall outstanding musicianship, and the potential for developing their own individual sound or unique voice on the instrument in the blues genre." Tickets and VIP backstage passes to a future Bonamassa concert are also included. Learn more at Keeping the Blues Alive.

Meanwhile, Joe is doing his part to keep the blues alive by touring the US this fall and winter right up through the middle of December.  He'll pick it up again in March when he heads to London to film and record concerts at the Borderline, Shephards Bush Empire, the Hammersmith Apollo, and the Royal Albert Hall.
