This year marks the 50th anniversary of Epiphone Casino #84075 leaving the Kalamazoo factory in Michigan where it then made its way across the Atlantic Ocean via freighter to the thriving metropolis of London, where in December of 1964, 22-year old Paul McCartney would purchase it as his first 'good' electric guitar. He hasn't put it down since.

Last year, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Casino's debut with the Limited Edition 50th Anniversary "1961" Casino and with fans like Sir Paul, Keith Richards, Gary Clark, Jr., Brad Whitford of Aerosmith, Paul Weller, Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Tristen, Chris Scruggs, and many others, we plan to keep on celebrating. For many players, the Casino is the perfect guitar--a thin hollowbody electric with P-90 single coil pickups that can also sound like humbuckers or a rarefied nasty-sounding noise maker you might have found in the '40s, '50s, or '60s.

Visit any Authorized Epiphone Dealer and try a new Casino. We never stopped making them like we used to.
