Last week we told you Neil Young and Crazy Horse had reunited recently in the studio ("We were just grazing but never gone," wrote drummer Ralph Molina on Facebook recently.)

Next week they'll take it on stage for the MusicCares Person of the Year gala held for our own Paul McCartney at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Sir Paul and Neil are old friends (Paul once joined Neil on stage for Neil's cover of The Beatles' "A Day In the Life") so look for a Casino/Les Paul battle royale.

As for the new album, it's all wrapped up and you can hear a new 37 minute jam on the classic "Cortez the Killer" on Neil's website. Best of all, you get a look at Neil's practice space and recording studio which is filled with prime vintage gear and lots of glowing vacuum tubes. Check it out.
