2013 is shaping up to be a great year for Epiphone. Along with celebrating our 140th anniversary there is now a long list of new albums by Epi artists on the way. Thom Yorke's side band away for Radiohead, Atoms for Peace, will release their first album, Amok, in February featuring producer Nigel Godrich and Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Also prepping new new music are Paul McCartney, Zakk Wylde, Slash, Rose Flores, Vampire Weekend, Trivium, Los Lobos, Moby, and Lucinda Williams.

As for 2012, this was a typically stellar year for fine albums by our artists as well, including KISS, Joe Bonamassa with Black Country Communion, Paul Weller, Duke Robillard, Alabama Shakes, the Beatles remasters on vinyl, and many more. Look for a feature on our favorites soon.

Meanwhile, here’s a look back at one of our favorite classic My Chemical Romance videos loaded with great Epiphone archtops. MCR will have their new album out by summertime. In the meanwhile, good luck finding the vinyl 45 collection of the Unconventional Weapons songs.   The limited edition box sold out in less than 24 hours. Read all about in our exclusive interview with Frank Iero.
