This past weekend was a great one for the Epiphone and Gibson family in Mexico City. Along with the Gibson Through The Lens
exhibition, which attracted a huge crowd, the Corona Capital music festival took place as well and was attended by 100,000 concertgoers. To promote the event, 10 Epiphone Coronet guitars were customized with the festival’s poster artwork and featured as prizes. In addition, 10-foot tall guitar sculptures, also decorated with the festival’s poster artwork, were positioned at the festival site along the route to the main stages where they served as popular photo-ops for concertgoers.
