Tickets for most of the Lollapalooza aftershows are now sold out which is bad news for fans who waited too long but good news for the many Epiphone artists that will be featured including
Jane's Addiction,
Gary Clark, Jr., and
Alabama Shakes. Clark did a short interview with
amNewYork and talked about his wide range of influences.
"I've found that most people who speak in terms of genres limit themselves in their scope and understanding of music," said Clark. "Blues itself is the foundation for all forms of rock 'n' roll, past, present and future, intertwined in every facet of rock music today. Is it limiting to me? Absolutely not. I just do what I do."
Clark's spot in the Austin City Limits festival was announced for Sunday, October 14. He'll be sharing a stage headlined by the Civil Wars and the Avett Brothers.
