In honor of the 50
th anniversary of the
Beatles’ first single, “Love Me Do,” our friends at Abbey Road published a new interview with Sir George Martin, The Beatles’ producer and musical confidant. Questions came from fans via Twitter and Facebook and, as you might guess, the servers were overwhelmed. Our favorite answer? Sir George was asked how he might celebrate the anniversary:
“I might have a good glass of wine tonight.”
