Happy New Year from all of us at Epiphone. This year, Epiphone will celebrate 140 years as the working musician's #1 choice for stringed instruments.
100 years ago, 1913 was a big year for
Epiphone. Epi Stathopoulo's father, Anastasios, had just filed his first patent for a bowl-back style mandolin, the company moved their headquarters to West 42nd street in New York, and in a few short years, the House of Stathopoulo would start making waves nationally with their Recording Banjo, followed by the Masterbilt Series.
Today, Epiphone is known around the world for making high quality affordable instruments in just about every style you can imagine. Our artists can be found in every music Hall of Fame you can think of. 2013 is going to be full of surprises so get ready.
Thanks to all of our players around the world who tell us everyday they love our instruments.
Happy New Year!
