Heart fans should check out the new book,
Kicking & Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul, and Rock and Roll, which tells the story of Heart from their early days in Seattle to the present day. The memoir was written by Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson in collaboration with Charles R. Cross. The hardback edition hits stores October 5 with a digital version available September 18.
"We put in a lot of miles before we made a record," Ann Wilson told
Rolling Stone. "Those early songs had been in our club set for a while and so we were seeing how people reacted to them. We had always been a real band; Heart was never a construct." And, they rocked.
