Epiphone's Nikki Sixx
talked about the Crüe's plans for 2012 and beyond during the latest installment of Best Buy's Unboxed chat series. Sixx said the band is in discussion now about a new album.
"We're writing … and when the songs are ready, we'll record them and how we will release them, we don't know, because everything is changing and we kinda like it," said Sixx.
Sixx also talked about future tour plans. "All the members of SIXX:A.M. are committed and want to tour but between Mötley Crüe, Guns N' Roses and James' production work, it's extremely difficult to find a time that we would all be available," said Sixx. "But, I want to let fans know that it is a priority and we want it to happen in the biggest of ways."
Mötley Crüe will release a new song in time for their co-headlining tour with KISS
which kicks off this week. Stay tuned. Here's Sixx AM in concert from last spring's Golden Gods Awards.
