Paul Simon, who used his vintage Epiphone 12-string Riviera exclusively on last year's tour for his latest album,
So Beautiful...So What, has announced a 25th Anniversary issue of his 1986 classic
Graceland on multiple formats including an audiophile vinyl edition with a poster, a cd/dvd 2-disc set with a vintage performance from
Saturday Night Live, and several collector's edition box sets.
Also, be sure to catch Joe Berlinger’s documentary,
Under African Skies, which chronicles the creation of
Graceland in the studio.
Under African Skies includes interviews with key anti-apartheid activists of the time along with fans and friends Quincy Jones, Harry Belafonte, Paul McCartney, David Byrne and Peter Gabriel. Hopefully Paul will take
Graceland on the road for a few shows.
