Ron Wood told the Sun that The Rolling Stones are in talks with the Olympic Committee to open the summer games in London. "We've got more meetings, everyone wants to do it. I've been asked to do the opening ceremony with the Stones and close the games with The Faces."
The Stones are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. As for the games, it almost sounds too good to be true (will Rod the Mod join The Faces?), but let's keep our fingers crossed. Maybe Keith will bring out his original early '60s Casino.
