Vintage Alice Cooper on DVD

06.15.2012
Alice CooperCheck out Alice Cooper's new DVD, The Strange Case of Alice Cooper, Live 1979, the Madhouse Rock Tour.  It's described as "more than a concert film. It is the warped tale of one man’s descent into madness, a theatrical rock ’n’ roll spectacle that could only emerge from the twisted imagination of Alice Cooper." And we agree.

The tour was inspired by Cooper's stay in a New York sanatarium. Vincent Price plays host to a procession of ghoul-faced doctors and twisted transvestite nurses as the band plays, well, like demons, of course. The tour coincided with the From the Inside album and includes Cooper classics like "I'm Eighteen," "No More Mr. Nice Guy, " and "Welcome To My Nightmare." Just like Epiphone, Alice Cooper is a maverick and he's passionate about everything he does. That's why we love 'em.  Don't miss it.
