Over the last few months we've been keeping you up-to-date on the preparations for the new Black Sabbath album, 13,
and now that it's out--and #1 in 50 countries ("I didn't even know there were 50 countries,
" Ozzy told The Telegraph
)--our job is done! But it's not like they needed any help.
Black Sabbath are back. 13
is a terrific album, just the one that fans have been waiting for, and we couldn't be more pleased for Tony Iommi,
who has been a friend to Epiphone for years. His signature model
is still a great find and the design had Tony's full cooperation and input.
Black Sabbath are now on tour but they're playing limited dates so Tony can continue treatment for lymphoma. "He's had chemo and radiotherapy, and now he's on a thing to boost his immune system," said Osbourne. "I really hope it's gone for good. I'm sure it has. But you never know with that stuff."
