When The Allman Brothers Band's fifth album, Brothers and Sisters, was released on Capricorn Records in August 1973, the legendary southern blues-rock group had already achieved world-wide fame with their 1971 live album, At Fillmore East. Their standout single from the album, "Ramblin' Man," is their biggest chart-topper and part of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that shaped Rock and Roll.
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Brothers and Sisters, the Allman Brothers Band, in partnership with Relix Magazine and Epiphone, are inviting aspiring singers and/or musicians to submit their best video covers of "Ramblin' Man." Submissions can be made up of a solo performance, with a band, or an entire marching band performing the song. Be creative! One winner will receive an Epiphone G-400 electric guitar, courtesy of Epiphone.
