Dave Grohl and Gary Clark Jr. At the Hall

Congrats to our longtime Epiphone friends Heart and Rush, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last night with a little help from Gary Clark Jr. (who inducted Albert King) and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, who looked smashing in an all-white groovy jump suit and white high heel boots.

"I met Neil Peart for the first time at rehearsal. This man was as influential to me as any religion," said Grohl as reported by Rolling Stone. "And he said, 'So nice to meet you, can I make you a coffee?' And he made me a coffee. Later on that night, I went to dinner and had a couple glasses of wine and I started (expletive) crying, because my hero made me a coffee."

Guests included Robbie Robertson, Jack Nicholson, and Jackson Browne, who all commented that Rush's induction was long overdue.  Clark was in his now-customary superb form, saluting King with burning renditions of "Oh Pretty Woman" and the classic, "Born Under A Bad Sign" with Booker T., who played on the original sessions at Stax Records in Memphis.   Check out  Billboard's interview with our hero on the red carpet.
