Epiphone Tops Best of 2013 lists Epiphone artists are ranking high in this year's "Best of 2013" lists.  Vampire Weekend's "Modern Vampires of the City" and Daughter's major label debut, "If You Leave," are on everybody's lists including NME, NPR, and Pop Matters. Rolling Stone put Vampire Weekend in the top spot and also ranked McCartney's "New" in the #4 spot. Neko Case's latest is making a lot of lists as well featuring longtime bandmate Jon Rauhouse, who is touring with a 2001 Joe Pass Emperor II.  Last but not least, William Tyler's Casino-drenched debut on indie darlings Merge Records made SPIN magazine's Top 50 and we bet we'll see Tyler on more lists in the coming weeks. Our favorite concert of the year? Well one of our big favorites has to be Gary Clark Jr., at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival in New York this spring where GC debuted his mysterious Blak and Blu Casino.
