Though it's still a bit far away (and sadly, very far away from Epiphone HQ) were excited to hear about the lineup for Bluesfest 2014 which will be held next April 17-21 at Byron Bay, Australia as it's heavy with Epiphone stalwarts including Gary Clark Jr., The Doobie Brothers, Robben Ford, and Epi archtop collector Jimmy Vaughan along with Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Aaron Neville (performing his new album produced by Keith Richards), and Boz Scaggs. And, there's more to come. More headliners will be announced shortly. It's the festival's 25th anniversary so get ready for some serious fireworks.
For those closer to home, don't miss Robben Ford's latest album, Bringing It Back Home
, which features Ford with his new favorite guitar, a vintage 1963 Epiphone Riviera, recreating the live vibe of classic cuts by Bob Dylan and Sam Cooke as well as a terrific cover of "Bird's Nest Bound" by Charley Patton. The album is still getting terrific reviews and Ford is tearing it up on the road as usual. Check out the trailer for the album which follows Ford as he tries out some vintage classics from the House of Stathopoulo.
