October is shaping up to be a virtual "Epiphone" month on the Jimmy Fallon show. Paul McCartney popped in recently for a preview of his latest album, New, and also roared through The Beatles classic "Lady Madonna."  Our own Captain Kirk Douglas and The Roots have a new album out with Epiphone collector Elvis Costello, Wise Up Ghost.  Read our exclusive interview here. And this Friday, Brittany from Alabama Shakes will join Merrill Garbus from My Morning Jacket to perform Fela Kuti's "Trouble Sleep Yanga Wake Am."  Look for the studio version out next week on the Red Hot+Fela collection.  The Alabama Shakes will be in Florida in December before finally taking a much deserved rest until New Year's. In the meantime, here are the Shakes performing "Be MIne" at the Lowlands Festival.
