John Forgerty announced his long-awaited all-stars album, which features contributions from Epiphone fans Foo Fighters along with the Zac Brown Band, Kid Rock, and Brad Paisley. "I saw it as a great opportunity to play with some of my favorite musicians," Fogerty told Rolling Stone.
Fogerty and Dave Grohl teamed up at the Sundance Festival to promote the Sound City documentary that Grohl directed. We were especially pleased to see Dave rock out on an Epiphone Jack Casady bass, which has been his constant companion for his all-star Sound City tribute shows.
We've also heard that Fogerty and the Foo Fighters chose to cover Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son," a great choice. Look for the album May 28.
