Epiphone's Gary Clark Jr. will perform at the Roxy Theater in Hollywood next Friday for a special pre-GRAMMY midnight show. Gary's new album,
Blak and Blu, won't be eligible for a nomination until the 2014 GRAMMYs, but there's already a buzz around the
Casino star.
The Roxy opened in 1973 on Sunset Strip and is currently owned by Lou Adler, who got his start in showbiz as a kid working for Sam Cooke.
It's a superb music venue with a long and wild history that includes infamous visits by
John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, and Keith Moon along with live albums by
SG fan Frank Zappa, Bob Marley, and Van Morrison. If you're in LA, get your tickets while you can.
