Epiphone's
Joe Bonamassa will release a new album, An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House, on cd, LP, and DVD March 26. The performance was recorded on tour last July.
"Originally, when I had the idea of doing an all-acoustic concert, I imagined doing it solo. I'd surround myself with a bunch of guitars, tell the background story of each song, and then play it," said Bonamassa. "(Producer) Kevin Shirley believed the show would be more exciting with a band and he got to work. It was amazing, different than anything I'd ever done before."
Bonamassa's band for the album includes Irish fiddler Gerry O'Connor and percussionist Lenny Castro. Visit Joe's
