If you're an Epiphone fan, then you're a Les Paul fan--that is, both the man and his namesake guitar. Check out the recent NPR interview with Science Friday host Ira Flatow and Sue Baker of the Les Paul Foundation on all things Les Paul including Les' many inventions from the harmonica holder to the prototype solid body electric guitar Les made from railroad ties at the Epiphone factory in Manhattan.
"You can find out a lot by going to the Les Paul Foundation website, which is lespaulfoundation.org," Baker told NPR. "We keep putting more things on all the time. He had an attitude of if something got in his way, it wasn't a poor me." Ain't that the truth!
