Los Angeles based The Vim Dicta is a unique band comprised of two guitar/vocalists and a drummer. Matt Tunney (age 20, lead guitar/vocals) & Cori Elliott (age 21, lead vocals/rhythm guitar) started writing songs together in October 2010 and added David Halicky (age 25, drums) in January 2011. Together, the group conjures up visions of the days when progressive and soulful rock music was about the feel and raw live sound of a hot young band.

The Vim Dicta's varied influences range from The Mars Volta to Led Zeppelin, The Dead Weather to The Doors, P-Funk to Santana, and unsurprisingly, their music is reaching a multi-cultural audience; from LA Hipsters to Hip Hoppers and Latin music fans. They recently played BuzzBand's Chinese Lunar New Year Festival in LA's Chinatown and the Sunset Strip Music Festival as guests of The Roxy and 98.7 FM.
