Congrats to our own Loretta Lynn who will receive the Americana Music Association's Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting at the AMA's annual event in Nashville this fall. Lynn is --of course--a hero to hard country fans and rock and rollers alike. But she is still a terrific lyricist; still writing and still breaking hearts.
Together with pal Dolly Parton (who should be getting the same award from the AMA), Lynn revolutionized country music and gave the best male writers of the day--Willie Nelson, Roger Miller, and Harlan Howard, a run for their money.
In many ways, Lynn's writing has aged the best and we couldn't be prouder to know that Epiphone has been along for the ride the whole way! Congrats Loretta!
