Epiphone's Modfather Paul Weller is the first artist to be confirmed for the House & Gardens Concert Series at Audley End in the UK this summer. It's a prestigious and well attended series. Meanwhile, Weller is hard at work on a follow up to his very excellent Sonik Kicks
. He premiered a new song, "Gravity" during the Save The Children's Christmas Tree Sessions in London.
"'Gravity" is a song I've had for a while now, and I don’t know what to do with it," Weller told NME
. "I'm working on a new album, writing and collecting songs, and hopefully it'll be out (in 2014). It's what I do, write songs and record them, so I just want to get on with it."
Right o! Let's hope Weller brings his show to the States soon, too. PW is not only a fan of the Epiphone Casino but occasionally takes out his rare Vintage Epiphone Dwight Coronet as well. Check out our previous feature
