Epiphone once again enjoyed a spectacular NAMM conference last weekend with visits from Brendon Small, Brent Hinds, and Tommy Thayer of KISS, as well as retailers from around the globe. As we predicted, the new Masterbilt Century Archtop Collection is making a big impression on players as it has done since we first started showing them off to artists at last year's SXSW conference. Dealers also checked out the new Ltd. Ed. Brendon Small “Snow Falcon”, the Ltd. Ed. Brent Hinds Flying V-Custom, and the Ltd. Ed. Joe Bonamassa “Treasure” Firebird 1 as well as the new Stagebird 6-string electric banjo and the premier of the first Masterbilt mandolin, the MM-40L.

As we celebrate the 60th anniversary of Epiphone joining the Gibson Family of Brands in 1957, we have lots of good news on the horizon so stay tuned. And read our feature story on the early days of Epiphone, the story of founder Epi Stathopoulo, and how Les Paul and Gibson's Ted McCarty masterminded the rescue of the "House of Stathopoulo" in 1957 and remade Epiphone for the rock 'n' roll generation.
