Congrats to our friends Diamante Eléctrico who took home two GRAMMYs including Best Rock Album for La Gran Oscilación at this year's 18th annual Latin GRAMMYs held November 16 at the MGM Grande Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Be sure to also check out the new single, "Dias Raros," featuring ZZ Top legend Billy Gibbons.

Longtime readers know that we're big fans of Diamante Eléctrico, one of the most exciting modern rock 'n' roll bands on the road today. Read our classic interview with bassist (Jack Casady) and founder Juan Galeano and keep an eye out for more good news from the band soon.

"Something special happened with Diamante," Galeano told Epiphone. "We did everything ourselves, we built our amps, recorded and produced our own records, made our own music videos, played killer shows since the beginning--so it actually was very natural. In the beginning, our fans were our friends who work with us in the business, but off course radio would not play us; no album reviews, no label, no distribution, we didn't care, we just wanted to play."

Diamante Eléctrico will make a short tour of the U.S. performing at Vibes Event Center in San Antonio on November 30, the Bomb Factory in Dalls on December 1, and two nights at the Scout Bar in Houston, Texas, December 2-3. Visit their website for 2018 dates soon.
