All of us at Epiphone would like to wish the amazing Jeff Waters a great birthday today.  And congrats to Waters and his band Annihilator who were nominated for a Juno Award last week for their last album, Suicidal Society which features Waters on lead vocals as well as lead guitar. The band will be appearing at the annual Musikmesse conference in Frankfurt, Germany in April and was recently confirmed for the always-epic Bloodstock Open Air Festival taking place August 10-13. Go here to register to win a new Jeff Waters Annihilator II Flying V and read our classic interview where Waters talked about his the inspiration of his Epiphone new signature model.

"People seemed to really like the first one," said Waters talking about his first signature model. "It was affordable and it was a great guitar and I used it on stage. When that ran out, (Epiphone President) Jim Rosenberg and I talked about doing another guitar. I thought it might end up being more expensive but Jim said let's reduce the cost slightly but keep the quality up and really offer Metal guitar players something great. When you find people who know what they're doing like Epiphone, you just let them do it. They threw me the guitar back and I'd say 99% of it was just perfect from the start."
