Longtime Epi fan Keb' Mo' has a busy schedule this year. He'll join legend and pal Taj Mahal at the Playboy Jazz Festival in Hollywood on Saturday, June 10 as well as the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise #29 from October 21-28 along with Booker T's Stax Records revue and fellow Epiphone artist Mr. Sipp.

Keb' Mo' will also join the Experience Hendrix tour with former Hendrix bandmate Billy Cox along with Buddy Guy, Dweezil Zappa, and Epiphone Masterbilt fan Zakk Wylde. And, don't forget to check out Keb' Mo's killer version of the Don Williams classic, "Lord, I Hope This Day is Good" on the new Don Williams tribute record which also includes John Prine and Garth Brooks. All proceeds from the album will go to support MusicCares. Visit Keb' Mo's website for details and read our classic Epiphone.com interview.

"It’s about really communicating the song. The instrument is important but it’s a tool. The voice is more important to me. That’s what I struggle with.  As for an instrument, whatever makes me comfortable and feel good.  Epiphone makes great guitars—fantastic--but no instrument can replace a human voice. I have to make my voice happen every time I show up. When the instrument is great, the easier I find myself."
