Lillie Mae is an accomplished fiddle player and mandolinist but her favorite instrument is still the guitar. Most of the new album was written on a friend's Masterbilt DR-500. "I've played fiddle since I was 7 but I played guitar before that. You can't accompany yourself on fiddle. Some people can (laughs). I love guitar—I'll sit and play guitar for hours. I seldom pick up the fiddle."
