As Loretta Lynn firmly confirmed to Nash Country Weekly
a few weeks ago:"I Ain't Gonna Quit." And why should she? Lynn's latest album, Full Circle,
was nominated for a GRAMMY and was recorded with producer John R. Cash and some of Nashville's premier acoustic musicians including longtime T-Bone Burnett baseman Dennis Crouch. Many more albums with Cash and Lynn, including both honky tonk and a gospel LPs, are already in the can along with lots of new originals.
Check out Loretta's websit
e for more info and catch her live at the world famous Ryman in Nashville on April 14 and 15 as she turns the venerable home of country music into a honky tonk Carnegie Hall, perhaps with her Epiphone MM-50E
mandolin. Here's Loretta in action along with Jamey Johnson and his well-weathered Epiphone EJ-200 at last week's Merle Haggard tribute with Don Was on upright bass and Sam Bush on fiddle.
