We're now a week away from the release of the new remix of The Beatles' classic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and to get every Beatle fan primed, Apple Records just released the audio of Take 1 of "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds" featuring Paul on organ, John on his J-160 acoustic, and George playing an Epiphone Casino.

The album was remixed by Giles Martin using the original session tapes and so far, everyone who has heard the new mix --including Black Flag founder Henry Rollins--has given the new Sgt. Pepper's a big thumbs up.  "Stunning album, amazing band, incredible mix. Release date is later this month. Can’t wait to hear the vinyl," said Rollins in his column for the LA Weekly.  Look for our exclusive interview with Abbey Road engineer Dave Harries on June 1.  And more good news--Martin recently announced we can look forward to a remix of The Beatles (White Album) in 2018.
