Paul Weller announced this weekend that he and his mates from The Jam will release a new box set celebrating the 40th anniversary of the band's first two albums, In the City and This Is the Modern World on October 20, 2017. The set will include four cds and a DVD featuring a new remastering of the original albums plus demos, live recordings, a 144-page book with liner notes and photographs, original album reviews, and promo videos as well as the band's performances on Tops of the Pops and the BBC program So It Goes.
