Epiphone will be on-hand for the annual Boomtown Festival this summer August 9-12 on the Matterley Estate near Winchester, Hampshire featuring legend Billy Bragg along with legends Fishbone, Jimmy Cliff, and Ben Harper and many more. Visit the website for details.

Billy Bragg's terrific history of Skiffle, Roots, Radicals, and Rockers: How Skiffle Changed the World, is now on paperback and is a must-have for music fans. Bragg chronicles the long and amazing story of how both British and American folk music styles and songs have intermingled over the last century leading to Lonnie Donegan's legendary cover of "Rock Island Line" which helped ignite a musical revolution that influenced The Beatles, Van Morrison, the Rolling Stones, Jimmy Page, and David Bowie. No decent rock 'n' roll education can do without Bragg's thoughtful look at this crucial period in British and American popular history.

Bragg took home a Masterbilt Century Olympic during the Americana Festival in 2016.

"It's been a real great addition to the Shine A Light tour," Bragg told Epiphone. I was initially only going to use my J-45 acoustic for the whole show, including my solo spot, which would have limited me to my more ballady songs. The compact size of the Olympic gives it a little more bite and the neck seems faster. I just felt like I was wielding something with more kinetic power than an ordinary acoustic, which really helped on the BB songs."
