Epi Signature Artist James Bay hosted a private listening party in New York last week to preview his upcoming new album. The title and release date will be announced in the next few weeks.
Bay worked closely with Epiphone luthiers last year on his critically acclaimed Ltd. Ed. James Bay Signature Century Outfit. Bay's Signature Century features a Kinman® Noiseless "Sweet Neck" P-90, the same pickup that Bay customized his own vintage model from 1966. The new Ltd. Ed. Century also comes with a reissue of the 60s era compensated floating bridge with brass wheels, a James Bay "Hat Man" headstock logo, Wilkinson Deluxe machine heads, USA made "CTS" 500K pots, and a reissue of an Epiphone 60s era hard case plus a hand-signed photo and a custom strap. "Having my own signature guitar built by Epiphone is something I've dreamed about since I started using their instruments as a kid and now that dream is coming true," Bay told Epiphone. "I've been lucky enough to team up with Epiphone to build my own signature model Century! I now have an even more reliable version of my favorite guitar to take out on the road and I get to share that model with the world."
