Congrats to Epiphone's Dwight Yoakam who will host a new SIRIUS radio station, Dwight Yoakam & the Bakersfield Beat, which will feature some of Dwight's heroes like Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Wynn Stewart, and the Flying Burrito Brothers as well as Dwight's LA contemporaries like Los Lobos and X.  A preview will broadcast Friday, February 23 on Channel 58.

Be sure to catch the legendary Yoakam on tour this month and throughout March in the U.S. and Canada with his redoubtable road band. Yoakam is also at work on a new album so you might hear a few new tracks along with a bucket of now-classic country hits like "Fast As You" and "Guitars, Cadillacs, etc." along with choice covers by Johnny Cash, Elvis, The Clash, and The Beatles.  During this run, Yoakam will also make an appearance at the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida April 6-8 along with vintage Epi collectors Cheap Trick, and Keith Urban.

Keen-eyed Epi fans know that one of the fastest selling artist signature models we've ever made was Mr. Yoakam's Epiphone Ltd. Ed. "Dwight Trash" Casino Outfit.  It's doubtful you'll find one second hand so if you don't, just pick up a Casino or Elitist Casino and get rockin' as Dwight is hardly ever seen on stage without a Casino these days. Read our feature on the history of the Casino and check out Dwight's website for further tour details.
