Longtime Epi fan Pokey LaFarge will hit the road this fall on a solo tour of Europe with stops in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, the Czech Republic, and the UK. But rest assured, LaFarge will be back on U.S. soil in time to perform his customary end-of-the-year residency at Off Broadway in St. Louis, December 27-December 29, backed by his full band.
LaFarge will then take his redoutable group out on the highway again in February 2019 throughout the midwest and Canada. And we hear a new album is in the works, too, which is good news for his ever-growing worldwide fanbase that can’t get enough of LaFarge’s epic combination of blues, country, rock ’n’ roll, and St. Louis zing. Read our classic interview with and check out the new Masterbilt Century Collection of acoustic/electric archtops, modeled and inspired by the original Epiphone archtops of the 1930s and 40s, like LaFarge’s trusty 1946 Epiphone Spartan.
"Timelessness is what I'm working towards and time is the very thing it will take in order to solidify myself in the eyes of the world," LaFarge told Epiphone. "I'll let the fads fade away, I'll let the generations evolve, and I'll evolve with them. But it's important for people to remember that any legendary musician has had one foot in his roots and one in the future."
